High Wire Distilling was founded in 2013 by Scott Blackwell, a CIA-trained baker (that's Culinary Institute of America), and his wife, Ann Marshall. Their bourbon whiskey is distilled from a mash of 4 grains: heirloom white corn, red winter wheat, malted barley, and Carolina gold rice bran. After aging in standard new American oak barrels, it gets bottled at 47% ABV.
