An incredible disappointment, especially considering the $70/bottle price. Headsy, harsh, unrefined, and brutally sharp finish. Off putting solventy, acetone quality in the aroma. Long, bitter, finish. Nikka can do better. It's a good example that price does not translate into quality.

Buttery caramel and a hint of smoke.

Great! Nutty and flavorful on the tongue smooth buttery finish. Worth it if you can find it a good price.
