Oban 14 Year
Single Malt
Oban // Highlands, Scotland
Founded in 1794 by brothers Hugh and John Stevenson, Oban Distillery sits on the shores of the Firth of Lorn in the coastal town that was subsequently built around it.
One of the smallest distilleries in Scotland at just over an acre in size, it uses some of the smallest pot stills in the country alongside traditional worm tub condensers, which cool the vapor outside among the rooftops in the sea air.

Tasting Notes
"Oban 14 Year is a very likable dram indeed with flavors of pears, sea salt, heather, toasted barley, and a touch of earthy peat smoke. This is a whisky many claim to be a favorite from novices to experts alike (as we can attest to from the mobs of folks at the whisky shows). Find out for yourself what the fuss is about."
