Tasting Notes
"The nose is fairly quiet at cask strength showing just a delicate smoke and gentle malt. With a splash of water, cooked fruits like pears come through. On the palate, it's got an average weight and a pleasant sweet smoke at the center of the palate. Finish is somewhat drying and lightly tannic (in a good way) with a lovely Marcona almond flavor. Sherry oxidized notes at the edges of the finish as a flicker of flavor along with a ever so gentle peat smoke. This is not a sweet bomb, but one that is certainly suitable at the end of a meal especially with the cheese course. "
