Oban 2006 Distillers Edition (Bottled 2020)

I ordered this to share with my wedding party on the day of my wedding (8/4/23). First pour blew us all away. Slightly peated, very balanced. Fruit notes were definitely present. Tart, almost. Low burn. Incredible after taste. Very good malt. Glad I was able to pull this off this wish list and put it on my list of spirits I’ve owned

On the rocks, light and subtle flavor

Silky, gentle flavor profile. Lovely scotch.

Good a round sweetness from the cherry. Nice whisky

Spicy, balanced and flavourful, but for me there were some overpowering hints of aniseed
