Octomore 09.2 Dialogos is a Travel Retail Exclusive. Like 09.1, it too is made from Concerto barley grown in Scotland. Octomore is Bruichaddich's super heavily peated whisky line with this bottling clocking in at 156ppm.
Distilled in 2012, this matured for 5 years. It aged in ex-American whiskey casks for 4 years and 2nd fill Bordeaux red wine casks for the final year. Bottled at 58.2% ABV with no added color or chill-filtration. This is a limited edition release of 12,000 bottles.

Tasting Notes
"The wine casks have imparted lots of flavor. Plums, red berries, but also more a candy-like influence, such as wine gums. There's a whiff of gun powder, as well as smoked bacon, espresso, and wood smoke. The palate gives berries and black forest gateau, backed up by a dark smokiness and a very syrupy mouthfeel. The peat is almost secondary with this dark and brooding whisky."
