Old Bardstown Estate Bourbon 101 Proof

Came in third in a blind test with Johnny Drum, Piggyback and Wheelhorse. Light caramel floral nose. Mild spice, caramel, wood taste. Astringent, sour finish.

Listen… This is like taking a hike in the deep woods! I can taste the pine trees, limestone, and sweet oak. Such a good change of pace.

Sweetness on the nose that transfers to the palate. Smooth, viscous mouthfeel, followed by a lingering cinnamon finish. One of our KBT purchases. Don’t remember this one being this good at our tasting, but then again, we did buy a bottle! Really good sip, anxious to have this one again.
