Tasting Notes

"Every watch an old western movie where the cowboy at the bar takes a swig of whiskey and then tenses up his face? This is the sort of thing he's drinking. It's big, hot and harsh. Super sweet, then slides into wood varnish territory before going oddly minty and vanishing with a long burn. Ice cools the heat, but doesn't do much for the flavor. It's probably a great thing to drink when sick, though. Probably not too bad to bake with either for things like pecan pies."
