Old Elk Straight Wheated Bourbon

Blind pour and review. Big heat on the nose, burning. Leather, caramel, very earthy. Taste is caramel, strawberry, burnt leather, earthy. Complex but hot.

Nose: super sweet. Caramel and butterscotch. Taste: feel the burn right up front, but it finishes clean. You know it's a wheated bourbon for sure. Has that tasty crispix cereal taste that lingers and it's great.

Tried over a cube at victors. Notes of vanilla and caramel. Bit watered down. Can’t wait to try neat st some point

Initial sweetness, with a spicy flavor, and finished with a mild burn. Nice!

When I think about how Bourbon should taste, this is what I think about. Real nice.
