Old Elk Straight Wheated Bourbon

Wow this is good! Its also a distiller pick. Very sweet and very light. Absolutely shocked this is 60%. I need a whole bottle!

Peanut brittle on the nose. Having trouble nailing down the palate tonight. But it's good!

Very sweet. Lots of Carmel and vanilla notes. Smooth like most wheats. Not much burn

Honey and nutty on the nose. About the same on the palate. The neck pour on this bottle was awful but it keeps getting so much better.

Floral, toffee, caramel and vanilla nose. Comes in very smooth, creamy and sweet. I can definitely taste the wheat which isn’t overpowering and is nicely balanced by the sweetness. It’s quite unique and I really like the flavors this mash bill produced. It’s got a nice thick mouthfeel and medium finish. Very enjoyable overall.
