Old Ezra 7 Year Barrel Strength Bourbon

Okay smell, tingly on the tongue. Strait forward and solid

Very strong spice on the palate, overall great choice of bourbon for the price point. Unusually smooth for the high proof. Great vanilla finish!

Nose: boozy caramel and slight nuttiness Taste: boozy spiciness and ever so slightly vanilla on the finish

The nose is a wonderful mix of marzipan, cherry, fig, oak, molasses and a hint of dried flowers and mint. The palate is dry but rich and very creamy, with intense baking spices, caramel, vanilla and the slightest hint of fruit at the end. The finish is medium long with fading marzipan and baking spices, with buttery caramel and oak behind it. Delicious.
