This release commemorates the 25th anniversary of Heaven Hill acquiring both the Bernheim Distillery in Louisville, KY and the Old Fitzgerald brand that came along with it in April 1999. The barrels used for this bottled in bond decanter series release were distilled in September 1999 and emptied in March 2013 making the age of the bourbon 13 years-old. The bourbon was bottled in February 2024.
