Old Forester 1920 Prohibition Style

Thick, creamy... buttery caramelized brown sugar, milky way caramel nougat, something bright-green apples? chocolate, peppery on tip of tongue... very light mint in middle before very light oaky lingering finish with more chocolate and leather

High ethanol sweetness on the nose. A spicy heat with caramel, cinnamon and vanilla notes. Finishes with a slight burn. The spicy heat is a bit too overwhelming for my taste. It unfortunately masks the other flavors.

For me, this is the ideal bourbon. Great proof, finish lasts a wonderfully long time, the profile is exactly what I want out of a Kentucky Bourbon

Nose of banana, rich and sweet flavor. Hot burn on the finish.

Feels like a smooth high proof burn. High ethanol experience. Definitely a good pour but a reduction may be needed to those that may not like the smooth burn. Overall about a 4.1.
