Four Roses Small Batch Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed February 20, 2021 (edited April 10, 2021)Sweet with a slight oakiness on the nose. A sweet and cinnamon spice on the palate with a touch of cherry menthol, like a cherry halls cough drop. No burn, with a medium finish. Makes for a decent dram, though nothing exceptional.53.99 USD per Bottle -
A semi sweet musty note on the nose with a slight hint of mint. The flavor has a strong plastic taste that leaves me with a nasty aftertaste in my mouth. No sweetness or spiciness on the palate, fell completely flat! Will never drink this again....however, the Henry McKenna 10 year remains a favorite of mine!

Russell's Reserve 10 Year Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed February 10, 2021 (edited March 17, 2021)Strong vanilla on the nose, warm cinnamon and buttery vanilla flavors on the palate, with a spicy end. ABV does feel slightly higher than the 45% I think, due to its spicy finish. Reminds me of a lower proof of the Wild Turkey 101, with more sweetness and less heat. -
A surprisingly strong pecan on the nose, a light smokiness on the palate with even more pecan, then ends on a slightly bitter dark chocolate note. Overall, a very good pour that reminds me of eating a pecan pie, without it being overly sweet. Very pleased with this one!65.99 USD per BottleSodie's Wine & Spirits
