Old Forester 1920 Prohibition Style

Thin and not much of anything, spice

Packs a punch at 115 proof. Nose is deep and rich. Banana bread, oak, a little bit of maple syrup. Starts out with a dry oak that dries out the mouth and quickly moves to savory chocolate dessert, similar to the 100 proof old forester. Red fruits come through also. Amazing high proof bourbon.

Great neat. Vanilla, caramel, nutmeg, not too hot.

Nose: vanilla, caramel, ethanol Palate: sweet, spicy, moderate to high ethanol burn, touch of oak, a bit of vanilla Finish: Lingering burn, tart fruits, hints of vanilla
