Four Roses Small Batch Select Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed December 30, 2020 (edited January 5, 2021)Exceptional mouthfeel. One of the most unique bourbons I’ve tried. I get a good amount of chocolate, oak, and even a spearmint type sensation. Of course the vanillas and caramels are present too -
Blanton's Original Single Barrel
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA

Old Forester 1920 Prohibition Style
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed October 18, 2020 (edited January 5, 2021)Packs a punch at 115 proof. Nose is deep and rich. Banana bread, oak, a little bit of maple syrup. Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed October 18, 2020 (edited January 5, 2021)Warehouse: RN Barrel No. 76-SB Rye forward nose, maybe a little bit of honey. Cherries and oak come through a little more. Taste is spicy but still get oak and a little bit of fruit. For a 100 proof, the heat is pleasant and not very hot. Hard to compare to their small batch but both are favorites
