Old Forester 1920 Prohibition Style

On the nose there is strong ethanol with notes of brown sugar and cherries. It starts off hot showing it’s proof but provides some vanilla and barrel. The finish is long and strong with the fire fading slowly.

Nose is sweet, caramelized brown sugar, some fruit notes, cinnamon? Almost gingerbread; but not quite. The palette is bold and full of sweet fruit, caramel, vanilla, some nuttiness. Nice finish with pepper and lingering warmth.
