N: straight forward with bright spice, vanilla, oak and caramel
P: a sharpness of spice and oak, with a bit of complexity following as the burn of the 115 proof as it mellows into a caramel rich, slightly buttery and full mouth feel. A bit of tart cherry and pecan appear, along with baking spices (nutmeg).
F: lingers from moderate to long, with spice and oak throughout. A great balance of sweet and bitter as it lingers.
O: one of my favorite bourbons and for the price, can’t be beat.
