Old Forester 1920 Prohibition Style

Cherries, cherries, and more cherries.

Spicy and rich throughout.

A lot of alcohol on the nose and front. I found 1 small ice cube (a sin, I know) did wonders to open it up. Still warm on the palate. A little spice with overtones of vanilla and smoke. Nice long finish. Overall solid, but not one of my all time favorites.

Nose: cherry syrup, baked rolls Palate: very fruity, with oak, toffee, and cinnamon. Finish: long with tastes of cinnamon, clove, and cherry. Overall: great complexity between fruitiness, oak and rye spices that lasts from first sip through finish.

initially sweet, very smooth all the way through the finish. Great sipper, doesn't disappoint.
