Old Forester 100 Proof Bourbon

fine but nothing to write home about...

obviously bitey on the front end due to the proof, but it's a really pleasant drinker and has a nice finish.

I’d have to say that this is a pretty good bourbon for its price. On the nose - green apple tart, woody, spicy, nutty Flavor - just the same as above but the apple tart is more dulled out by the Woody flavor All in all a darn good bourbon if you want one just for dipping neat or on rocks

Excellent character for a fairly priced, higher proof Bourbon. A go-to standard for Old Fashions but also good neat.
