Old Forester 100 Proof Bourbon

It took me a long time to finally try Old Forester 100, for no reason other than I simply kept trying other things instead. Suffice to say, I regret not trying this one sooner, because it is quite great for an affordable, flagship offering — which shouldn’t surprise me given my love for Old Forester Rye.

Spicy and sweet

Immediately opening the bottle you're met with this caramel, sugary, creme brulee scent. The taste is curiously oily with strong vanilla and oak flavors followed by the slightest hint of chocolate.
