Old Forester Classic 86 Proof

Aromas of demerara sugar, marzipan, vanilla, oak, and dried plum. Full-bodied in the mouth – with the palate showing more oak, dried plum, vanilla, and demerara; plus cedar and tobacco leaf on the finish. Finishes fairly long, and relatively smooth. 3.50/5.00 – Impressive (neat)

Dry. Aroma of sweet vanilla. Strong ethonol beggining that ends with bitter dark chocolate and Carmel finish and something spicy? Color is weak with a amber gold. Not appealing to the eye.

Four roses yellow label was what i started with and i would say this is a good next step. Still budget bourbon, but slightly higher proof and an upgrade to me. Good for mixing cocktails and a solid bourbon for the price
