Old Overholt Bottled in Bond Straight Rye (Non Chill Filtered)
As the label indicates, this Old Overholt Bottled in Bond Rye is not chill filtered prior to bottling to offer a fuller flavor profile. But it is still the product of one distilling season and is aged in a bonded warehouse for a minimum of four years.
It is also bottled at 100 proof as is the requirement for bottled in bond whiskey. This bottling was launched in 2020 and replaces the previous version.

RyeUnlike bourbon, rye whiskey can be made anywhere in the world. But if made in the US, the mash bill recipe must be at least 51% rye and it must be aged in new, charred oak barrels with no age requirement. Elsewhere, the rye whiskey will be made keeping the country of origin's rules regarding the recipe and minimum aging.
