Olmeca Altos Plata Tequila

Cooked agave, black pepper, grapefruit zest, cut grass, toasted coconut, and pine wood on the nose. Very oily mouthfeel. Palate has more black pepper, agave, pine, and grapefruit notes – plus vanilla and fresh lime. Finish has a little heat, and is medium-length. 3.50/5.00 – Impressive (neat)

A decently priced quality mixer. You could sip it neat if you wanted to, put it works best in margaritas. It does a good job of hitting the grassy, sweet, and peppery notes that a tequila should, but nothing makes it stand out enough to make it top shelf sipper.
