Omar Single Malt Whisky Sherry Cask

First sniff has notes of chocolate and orange zest. First taste has strong vanilla and dark chocolate notes with a oaky cinnamon citrus after taste.

Nice whiskey. Dark chocolate oak and a little orange. Strangely reminds me more of a bourbon than a scotch

Fruity nose. Light and smooth taste.

Taste of honey sweet nose with a tinge of cinnamon spice. The very first taste is sweet with sherry, then it follows with orange flavors at the top of your palate followed by bitter smoke, the oak is in the aftertaste with more bitterness. The finish lingers but it's not a good finish. I would not buy this for its $86 price tag. Feels more like a bottle in the high $20 vicinity.
