"As one would expect from a bourbon with a high-rye mash bill, this whiskey carries a hit of spice. Nine years in oak balances this with a strong vanilla influence. But it's the triple cask finish that sets this experimental whiskey apart, contributing notes of dried fruit and almond. The additional layers of flavor keep the whiskey interesting well beyond the first few sips. "
