Papa's Pilar Marquesas Blend Rum was crafted by master blender Ron Call who blended seven rums aged up to 24 years. These rums were sourced from the Caribbean, the US, and Central America.
After blending, the rum was placed in ex-bourbon barrels to finish maturing. Named after the Marquesas Keys, a group of uninhabited islands just west of Key West where Ernest Hemingway was once stranded for two weeks after a fishing expedition.

Tasting Notes
"On the nose, this richly hued rum has aromas of wood chips, sweet orange and a twinge of spearmint. It has lovely flavors of maple, vanilla, cocoa and candied orange peel. This would make a fantastic Old Fashioned sweetened with a touch of maple syrup, and it's also a great sip on its own."
