Reviewed January 23, 2020Nose- maple, malty, brown sugar, vanilla, peanut Palate- Orange, peanut oil, butterscotch, vanilla, heavy oak, cinnamon spice Finish- Medium, malty finish with notes of butterscotch and spice Very drinkable and unique whiskey. Great nose and great palate. Very balanced and fantastic flavors of peanut oil and butterscotch on the palate. Surprising amount of oak as well for 8 years of age- but not overpowering. -

Reviewed January 2, 2020 (edited July 25, 2023)Corn, sage, and caramel nose, pretty flat. Oily mouth feel and smooth followed by a healthy burn and spicy finish. Sweet up front and a very satisfying bourbon flavor despite being a malt. Would be a great bourbon if it was possible to find and cheaper.
