"Burnt amber in the glass, a touch deeper than a traditional añejo, as a result of its nonconventional cooperage. Out of the bottle comes aromas of roasted almonds and brûléed banana. The nose carries true onto the tongue, particularly upon first sip, where a nuttiness makes itself immediately known. Appearing in the back palate are notes of vanilla and baking spice, enduring in their presence as they ride the wave of the liquid's rich mouthfeel. A supremely satisfying balance between distillate and cooperage. "
