Penta Tequila is made from 100% blue weber agave which has been sourced from the five legally protected regions for tequila production--"penta" is the Greek word for "five." These regions are Jalisco, Guanajuato, Michoacán, Nayarit, and Tamaulipas.
It uses champagne and tequila yeast in its production and is a mix of double and triple distilled agave. For the Añejo, the tequila is aged for 14 months in a mix of new and seasoned American, Hungarian, and French oak.

Tequila AñejoDistilled from 100% blue Weber agave, it is aged for at least a year in barrels not to exceed 600 liters. Any type of wood is acceptable, but ex-bourbon barrels are most common. Añejo tequilas are also known as "aged" or "extra aged".
