Pernod Anise Liqueur
Anise Liqueurs
Pernod // France
Pernod Anise Liqueur, often just called Pernod, is a liqueur made with star anise and fennel along with other herbs. It was created in 1920 without wormwood after absinthe was banned in 1915.
As is common with anise liqueurs, this will become opaque with the addition of water. Please note: Pernod Absinthe is sold today and is a separate product from this anise liqueur.
