Pikesville Straight Rye

Happy FRYEday!

On the nose, cinnamon candy, toffee, cayenne pepper and burnt grass. The palate of this rye is sweet, rich and spicy. Cherry, vanilla, pepper, bread and oak with a slightly minty finish. The flavor profile is strong and transparent.

First pour out of the bottle. It is much smoother than I was anticipating but I also prefer higher proofs. Also not as much as rye spice as I was expecting.
