Plantation Jamaica 2007 (West Indian Manatee)
This is one of six limited edition rum bottlings for Plantation Rum for its "Under the Sea" Vintage Collection No. 2. Featuring a local marine animal on the packaging, each of the rums are distilled and aged in their country of origin and then further aged in southwest France — the signature double aging for the brand. This Jamaica 2007 vintage bottling was distilled at Clarendon in a Vendome double retort copper pot still The rum was initially aged for 13 years in ex-bourbon barrels before being transferred to France for an additional 2 years of aging.
A West Indian manatee is featured on the label. Only 28 casks were produced. Availability begins in the US in May 2023. (SRP $80).
