Reviewed July 17, 2022Over ripe banana leads the way into bourbon notes of cherry and caramel with undertones of fig and molasses. You can definitely tell it was bourbon barrel aged. Extremely easy drinking and not as big of an oak bomb as I was expecting for nearly 23 years of aging, which to me is a good thing. It's not as funky as some Jamaican rum. Kind of reminds me of Foursquare a bit. Really enjoyable -

Reviewed February 10, 2022Not loving this. I feel that the secondary barrels took away from the rum taste of this offering. Tastes somewhat hot and less "rummy". I think it's the cognac barrel that overbears, but I'm not certain. Still ok, but not great.
