This limited edition is the 6th release in Bruichladdich's Port Charlotte Cask Exploration series. It was distilled from heavily peated Scottish Concerto barley (40 PPM) in 2013 and aged for a total minimum 9 years: 4 years of which were spent in first-fill ex-bourbon American oak casks; 5 years in ex-Pomerol Bordeaux red wine casks.
It was bottled non-chill filtered in 2022 at 54.5% ABV.
