After some time, there's a noticeable walnut on the nose. Some vanilla. Honey. Very sweet.
I only wished it tasted the way it smelled. Heavy mint. Gives you that mouthfeel you'd expect. It's a bit herbal. Some nuttiness is there, but not much to get truly noticed. Dark caramel.
Decent amount of burn for 95 proof, but nothing off-putting. Decent finish.
To me, this is a slightly above average bottle. Nothing is really bad about it. There's a bit too much mint for my liking, but it's fine. Nothing stands out. I've noticed some more vanilla on the palate after a few more sips, but it didn't help to win me over.
It's very drinkable. I'll give it that. But the flavor profile lacks that, 'wow' factor.
