N: if you infused orange and anise into root beer, this is what I think it'd smell like
P: early anise, with orange and floral rose notes mid palate, roots and spice on back toward finish...bitterness comes in about mid palette for me
F: Clean spice, with lingering anise/citrus blend
Oily but not heavily viscous. Have used it in Black Manhattans, hanky Pankys instead of Fernet (to remove the menthol). Also great on ice. Would be good with seltzer but I'm favoring nearly 100% alc based drinks at the moment.
