Rebel Yell Kentucky Straight Bourbon 100 Proof

Full flavor, not sweet, mild harsh finish with pleasant tingle

This has been my go-to sub $20 bourbon for about a year now. Quality seems to have held. Cinnamon, Cherry, Oak, and butterscotch goodness. At less than $20 it is more than capable as a neat pour, on the rocks, or dumped in a glass of ice cold Coke or Ginger Ale. **As a side note, this is now branded simply as Rebel Bourbon (no Yell). Apparently a rolling change that flew under the radar or that I just completely missed.**

By far one of the best KY bourbons for $20 or less. Nose has sweet vanilla, fresh cut lumber, M&M’s (just the shell). Palate is sweet wheat, flea market roasted nuts, kisses from your hot cousin (don’t fool yourself, you know you’ve thought about it), and some toffee. Finish is sweet and easy (insert mom joke here). This really is a decent bourbon. You can’t hardly beat it for the money, plus if you’re into mixers, it turns regular coke into a good’er version of Vanilla Coke.
