Redneck Riviera Whiskey

John Rich has created a whiskey with a Vanilla/honey smoothness. It’s got a sweet flavor. Very approachable and affordable.

A little sweetness to it but nothing like Irish whiskey. Smooth and actually pretty good

Passable as a mixer but lacks any real flavor and mouthfeel. I would pass on this, just happened to be what a friend had at a party and I tried it.

I decided to give Redneck Riviera another try especially after John Rich’s song “Take Your Progress and Put It Where the Sun Don’t Shine” came out. I was initially a little harsh, but feel that this whiskey is right at average. Aroma of vanilla and honey. Nothing special on the front end. Smooth. Sweet with a little heat. A good effort for a blended bourbon. Easy to drink straight up. I prefer my bourbon to have more body on the front end.

Sharp, mild oak finish
