Gatsby Reserve is the most limited expression in the Remus Bourbon family from the Ross & Squibb Distillery. Packaged in an Art Deco inspired bottle, the bourbon celebrates F. Scott Fitzgerald's 1925 novel "The Great Gatsby" featuring some of the oldest bourbon reserves from the distillery. This 2024 edition was aged for 15 years like its predecessors.
Two mash bill recipes were used — 75% corn, 21% rye, 4% malted barley and 60% corn, 36% rye, and 4% malted barley. Bottled at a cask strength of 104.9 proof (52.45% ABV), this is available in limited quantities beginning November 2024 (SRP $229.

Tasting Notes
"The nose is bold with an intense vanilla sweetness and toasted barrel spices. It's full on the palate with a moderate char smoke. There's some cherry fruit here and a peppery bite at cask strength. It's drinkable neat, but feel free to add a splash of water. Further tastes brings out an mild grassy note on the nose and more cherry cola notes. Finish is long lasting. "
