Interesting, I don't read this the same as most of the other reviews. On the nose I get straight on orange peel. The palate is more orange and slight caramel. If it was sweeter, you could add a drop of bitters and it would be an old fashioned. Fairly thin and a short finish, but does have a little heat. A nice whiskey, not a great whiskey. It is a nice one off flavor profile

Brown sugar forward nose with some classic rye baking spice notes. Palette yells the classic MGP rye flavors. Tannin overtone with a slight citrus finish. Nothing offensive, but not worth a hunt in my state. Other MGP products available with similar profile. Art Deco bottle is cool.
