Launched in February 2025, Rieger Straight Rye is a new addition to the Rieger Whiskey Collection. It is made with a sweet mash fermentation using a recipe of 96% rye and 4% malted barley with 100% of distillation, aging and bottling taking place at the distillery in Kansas City.
Aged at minimum of 4 years in 53-gallon American oak barrels, it's bottled at 90 proof. (SRP $30-35).

RyeRye produced in the US must be made of at least 51% rye and it must be aged in new, charred oak barrels (no age requirement). Elsewhere, it will be made according to the country of origin's rules regarding the recipe and minimum aging.
