My grandparents were suddenly convinced that tequila was a miracle health product... Ironic considering that most Americans get to know tequila through friends at parties... and I try it thanks to my grandparents.
But lets get back to the drink, this is quite nice, however I firmly prefer the Silver, the bourbon cask aging creates an unusual funky contrast... That I loath... but that also appeals to me. The bourbon cask offers corn sweetness, medicinal rye and light oak spice that is so strange against the backdrop of smooth agave, creamy sweetness, maple syrup notes and texture, vegetable flavours and those subtle perfume notes. I think the Silver version is better, but both are good.
