Aromas of baked pear, vanilla, graham cracker, orange peel, and caramel. Very creamy, lightly tannic mouthfeel. Palate has more notes of graham cracker, vanilla, and caramel, alongside green apple, pepper, and hay. Noticeable heat on the midpalate, but smoother on the finish, which is medium-long. Overall, an alright sipper – but, worth noting that it holds up far better in a cocktail than most other, more delicate Irish whiskeys. If you're specifically looking for an Irish to mix with, this is a great option.
