Ethanol hits first on the nose but it dies back to mellow candy floss and strawberry aroma. Flavours of golden syrup, honey, and vanilla. Clean, dry finish and smoother than the initial ethanol nose would have suggested. Quite enjoyable.

A sipping rum. more comparable to a whiskey than a traditional rum

Tastes like liquid Diabetes straight. Tolerable over ice to dilute the added sugar. This rum is vastly over-rated in my opinion and gets high reviews because you are supposed to like it.

At first I thought this was a great rum, but I realised it is way too sweet for me.
