Nose - Dark vanilla caramel, hint of peanut, trace of cinnamon.
Taste - Spicy cinnamon mouthfeel, then a brown sugar vanilla caramel, faint Coke presence near the end along with a tiny bit of oaky dryness.
Finish - Lingering cinnamon heat, fading oaky molasses/caramel sweetness.
Score - 83/100
Final Thoughts - This was a very "bourbony" bourbon. It's tasty and tastes what you'd think a bourbon might taste like. Not really complex, but not boring either. It balances the sweetness quite well and manages to hold back anything that might be offensive, but that also makes it a bit uninteresting. A good daily sipper and I can imagine this might make a good old fashioned where you want to play around with your bitters a bit since it's not too intense in flavors one way or another.
