I really hope this is just a bad batch….

Black cherries, big spice

Not too bad. A little too much burn for me, but almost a good balance.

Fairly sweet with the typical Willett funky flavor. There isn't much finish here. I'll stick with Noah's Mill for my liking

Nose is rich brown sugar and syrup. A bit of cinnamon. Sweet corn. Palate is more sweet brown sugar and spicy cinnamon. Red apple peel. It's pretty hot at 50% abv but not overly so and I prefer it. Finish is medium and complex. More brown sugar and cinnamon with an almost malty flavor. Water cools it down but does nothing for the flavor but dilute it. I prefer it neat. Good bourbon overall but there are others I would take at the price point.
