Rum Fire White Overproof

Think it's time to review some Hampden offerings. This is the distillery that made me realize rum is exciting. This is hogo all over, fruity nose heavy with funk. Banana peel, burnt rubber, a little heat, and a slightly sour note I can't place. There's a little salinity on the finish. Overall, an excellent offering in the "white overproof" category

Banana nose, salty palate. Neat 3.5, but it makes a very good daiquiri or ti punch. 4.5. So average a 4.

Has a very interesting salinity to it. Esters running rampant in the best way. Quite a burn.

Sharpie boozy nose. Sweet body with bitter bite. Tails on the nose with sweet green banana sweetness

All the oily, auto shop goodness of an aged Hampden, without the barrel effects. Surprisingly balanced and approachable for its proof. If you love funk, this is the white rum for you.
