Reviewed April 15, 2023Wine.com Selection. **Color:** 1.2 chestnut **Nose:** Different. Dark, sherried cherry, toasted oak, wet wood, and baked apple. **Taste:** I can’t say I’ve really ever tasted Wild Turkey like this before. Very sweet, and fruity, but its core Wild Turkey flavors provide a footing of deliciousness. Cherry cola, brown sugar, and vanilla, like the rootbeer float of bourbon in a perfect way. Bunch of caramel to round it out. There’s a real depth to the flavor here that I am truly appreciating, as well. Definitely moreso than the other WT single barrel products I’ve had, of late. **Finish:** Long and sweet, continuing from the taste, but with enough rye spice to balance it out. **Overall:** This was a true treat. A combination of flavors that I was not expecting, nor was ready for. Sad that I only have an ounce to test, I guess CN-B is high on my wants list, now.
