Tasting Notes
"The aroma here is lots of the classic vanilla, caramel, and oak along with some peanut shells. With the proof being what it is, you'll feel a bit of a burn and the whiskey feels tight and dry on the palate. It's tangy and falls on the bitter side of things. It's certainly drinkable but adding a bit of water will soften the rough edges a bit and allow the taste to be more enjoyable. Dried herbs and more of the nutty qualities along with a touch of smoked beef jerky are revealed with the addition of water, just a splash or two will do. A solid bourbon to spend time with. "
